Elevation for outdoor run not uploading, Forerunner 15

Starting this week, my runs outside are not showing any elevation. Same run a week ago shows the elevation gains correctly - about 500 feet over the length of the course. Is this a known problem with Garmin Connect?

There is also a post about this in the Forerunner 15 forum. I am having this exact issue with my watch. October 26th workout had elevation data, October 28th workout had none. I think perhaps the dates are because they're all workouts that I sync'd yesterday, hadn't had a chance last week.

I am really hoping they can add the elevation data back into the logs, I ran my big marathon on Sunday and really want all my data!

I am having the same problem with Forerunner 10. No elevation data since October 31.

+1 to same problem with FR10. Last run with elevation data was November 1.
  • Same for me...Oct 31st has elevation gain. Next 2 runs (Nov 2 and 4) have no elevation data. Garmin Forerunner 15.

The worst part is that we don't have any feedback from any Garmin's representatives.

How in the world can you get a regression like this on several models!? FR10 owners are also complaining about this issue.

And it seems that this is the second time, as this kind of regression has happened before in Feb/Apr.

How difficult would be for their QA department to go out for a run, come back, and test if everything is in its place?

The last time it happened there was no retroactive correction to the elevation data. It just started working again after a week or two and I never got credit for my hills!
