Fit damaged file: please, can someone help me to fix it?

Hi there,

I have a damaged fit file that I cannot fix.
I tried with several tools (both online like http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ or apps for Mac like GoldenCheetah) and I was able to fix it somehow and import it in Runkeeper.
Unfortunately no way to import it in Garmin Connect as it says that also the new versions are damaged.
The only tools I didn't try are those for Windows like http://fitfilerepairtool.info/.

The file is attached here, please can someone help me to fix it for Garmin Connect? It is a pretty important file as it was the test for the half-marathon that I am going to run in two weeks.

Thanks a lot

I'm not saying that your file isn't corrupt, but I just had a problem uploading, someone kindly fixed the corruptions and it turned out the problem was with Garmin Express / Connect. I say this because I have been able to upload the original files manually this morning (though it wouldn't work last night and it still won't work through Garmin Express) and they also uploaded perfectly well onto other sites (MapMyRun and MyAsics).

Perhaps you can upload somewhere else, re-export the file, upload manually into Connect.

Just out of curiosity I tried to upload your file manually and it worked perfectly ok. If there is corruption it can't be that bad.

(ps I lived for a little while in 1984 in the area where you started your run).
