Garmin 910XT ERROR when uploading on Garmin Express

My 910XT has been working well with Garmin Express (GE) since Express came out. Today (Nov 2nd 2014) it keeps telling me there is an ERROR with any activity it tries to upload. I even did a separate run to see if maybe it was one bad activity. But any activity for today shows an error.

Also I noticed there is a random activity from Dec 30 1989 that was uploaded. No actual activity associated with it.



I tried uninstalling GE, restarting computer, unpairing 910, installing GE, repairing 910, and no luck.

Let me know if there are any resolutions to this problem. Do I also have to contact Garmin to fix this problem?

  • Same issue; I have lost 3 of 4 workouts and data since Sunday, Nov 2. Today on GarminConnect I get the page header, sidebar, and NO (NONE) of my data from the last several months.

    It seems we're ignored in their own forum(!)... Not as much as an attempt to explain. Strange behavior...

    Has anyone figured out a solution to this issue? I have tried a reset, still nothing is working right with my uploads...

    I have the same issue also started on Nov 2 (swim). Initially there was a sync page where I could see multiple entries from Nov. 2 and the last one would not transfer which seemed to hang the whole process.

    Since then the same issue - watch detects, starts transfer and then falls over after a few seconds. No register of anything happening on express.

    Garmin should think about how much they invest in making new products when it seems they don't invest in supporting existing products or developing robust software.

    To be honest since I have started using express, the whole upload process has been happening a bit randomly.
