Cannot upload to garmin connect

Just completed a brevet and my G510 (v3.20) stored the fit file.
The problem is that I cannot upload (2014-11-02) the activity to Garmin Connect. Tried Garmin Express (3.2.19.0) (Windows 7-64bit), the old web application of Garmin Connect and the android application (via blue tooth).

The strange thing is that I was able to upload without a problem this activity (using the Garmin Plugin) to Strava, MapMyRide and RideWithGps.

Any ideas?

    Thanks for the detailed logs. I thought it was something with my watch. I'll just wait until they fix the servers. Will try to upload tomorrow.

    Tried to upload my Garmin 220 after a run: by phone, by Garmin connect and got Server Error both times. (4:13 pm Central US time).

    I can't upload from my 910 or vivofit :( really wanted to look at the data.

    I'm unable to sync with Gamin Connect - Unknown Error.

    When did you last try to upload your data? Activities uploaded correctly on 10/26. Activities (4) since 10/26 failed to upload on 11/2.
    What method did you use? Garmin Express? Garmin Connect Mobile? Garmin Express
    What device are you uploading your data from? Fenix 2
    Are you getting any type of error message when you are uploading? If so what does the error message say? Unknown Error
    What happens when you attempt to upload the file manually? Do you get a success message or an error? For 30 minutes it said Uploading with the circle spinning. Copied to my local drive and tried to upload - received the following message: An error occurred with your upload. Please try again.
    What is your Garmin Connect username? (likely the same as your forum username but please note if otherwise) gofarun

    not syncing

    same problem. at least i now know it is not something on my end. was the time change a SURPRISE???

    to all posters,

    I have read that there are currently issues with uploading to GC due to a time zone change somewhere in the world affecting some of the Garmin GC servers. I may have been lucky in getting my files to upload so I guess patience until the time zone issue is resolved is now needed.

    As a side note, I understand that people with Strava accounts are able to upload and view their activity data - may be an option.

  • I was unable to upload today's run to Garmin Connect, but I was able to upload the FIT file to Strava without issue. I even tried to doenload the GPX from Strava and upload to GC as I thought the change in time in the US last night may have caused the issue, but that did not work either.

    I am having same issue too. Can't upload any files for Vivofit to Garmin Connect. I was able to this morning really early but after that nothing for the remaining of the day.
  • Me too. I thought my wifi was borked again. Would be nice if Garmin just put a 'heads up' on the Garmin connect webpage.
