GPS accuracy and segments

I think it's accepted that the Forerunner 620 doesn't have the GPS accuracy of some previous models, for example the 305. I can certainly vouch for that. However, my point is not to complain about that, as it's acceptably accurate for my purposes and if it's a trade-off against making the watch more watch-like, then that's fine with me.

But...

When using segments on the Connect site, the algorithm that matches segments with activities seems to demand a GPS accuracy that the 620 can't always provide. Given that these are all Garmin components, then they should play together better (no, I'm not really that naïve and yes I have used Microsoft products :) ). If anyone from Garmin is monitoring this, then please take a look at activity 622561095 and segment 381E52381E674FC4B453CE5236AD02AA for an example.

Also, is there some way to prevent cyclists holding the top spots of running segments please? I believe Strava allows you to flag suspect times in some way.

Thanks for listening :)
