Garmin should consider the following facts: 1.that i have already paid 450euros for a watch that does not track steps (and probably never will, and with huge wifi problems!!) 2.since i am not used to wear watch and arm wrist gadgets at the same time, so that i would buy another product like vivofit etc. 3. competition is already offering either connectivity with G.fit or integrated watch solutions..
Not sure if I'm correct in this but I currently export my activities to Strava which yesterday asked me if I wanted to connect to Google Fit which I did. My runs at least are now showing in Google Fit.
Yeah, I am also a bit disappointed from Google Fit. The functionality is really basic, not alot of usefull data there. I hope they will heavely improve their product, else I do not see any extra benefit in Google Fit - unfortunately...
