How to create a workout as follows with Garmin connect:

I got one other question using the garmin connect application. I would like to prepare in advance my workouts and schedule them to my watch. My problem is that certain activities I can easily do using the watch options but not through the create workout option using garmin connect application. The workout I want to create is as follows:

#1. open no target.
#2. duration distance, value 1.40km, target pace,target zone custom, target high 04:03/km, target low 04:07/km.
#3. duration until HR <, duration value 145, target no tatget.
#4. duration repeat, no of reps 6, back to step 2.
#5. open no target.

How can i do that using garmin connect workout application, such that i can schedule all workouts?

  • Hi not sure exactly where you are having the problem

    Are you using connect modern or "classic"?

    In the classic interface you can set up a workout step with a duration of 1.4 km and a target pace between 4:03 and 4:07

    You can also create a step with a duration of 145 as heart rate - this step will then finish when you HR falls below 145

    If you need more options then try downloading Training Centre whilst it is still available - this does let you create some workouts which connect cannot do
