Garmin 510

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and hoped you might be able to help. My 510 has several issues despite being less than 12 months old.

The problem started whilst finishing a ride at dusk at the screen switched to night mode. The screen is now unreadable and I have not been able to get the screen to back to day mode despite selecting this option in settings,

Recently, it has also been freezing when finishing a ride and and saving the ride although the ride has uploaded to Garmin connect.

It also appears to be unable to acquire a satellite signal.

I have downloaded the latest version of communicator plugin, but this doesn't seem to fix any of issues.

Try the Edge 510 forum S, many of these issues have been discussed.

The screen is in night mode (white lettering on black) all the time, even in daytime?
Regarding long 'save', which FW version are you using?
Is the satellite signal an intermittent or a continuous issue? If continuous, is gps enabled?
Communicator isn't needed with Garmin Express and GC modern and is being phased out.
