Can Garmin connect support 2 devices?

I am considering purchasing a vivofit but I already have a forerunner 405x, so I already have a connect account. Can I have the info from the vivofit upload to my already established account?

Yes it can. The issue I have is keeping track of which device in reports. I look at it as taking my wife and ex-wife out on a date and trying to figure out what was said to who. I just gave in and made a separate account for each device. I never use both devices at the same time.
Remember this is "Just my opinion"
  • I have garmin swim and fr 610 and have no conflict issues (so far :) ) the device is listed as part of the activity but I haven't seen how you can report by device so the answer I think would be to make sure that the activity types are used to distinguish between activities on one device or the other (that is if it is important to you to distinguish).

    Hi,#
I have a a Garmin fenix GPS watch and Garmin Vivosmart (just new), both with Bluetooth connecions. When I try to connect both to the Garmin connect app on my Nexus 5 phone, only the most recent device stays connected. If I track an activity with both devices what happens with the Calories reported by each device for the same period? Not seen anything useful to answer this in Garmin User Manuals or Garmin web site.
