Forerunner 201

Please forgive me if this has has been addressed in another thread.

I can use the "Upload" button in the old Garmin Connect just fine with my usb to serial adapter, but Garmin Express cannot find my Forerunner 201. Once I upload using the older Garmin Connect I can see the data in the newer Garmin Connect but can't upload straight to the newer system. "You have no device on Garmin Connect."

I am running version 3.70 software on the forerunner.

Any thoughts?

It sounds like you have the Garmin Connect Plugin, and probably the Garmin ANT Agent installed on your computer. This is a problem, and it will often cause problems getting your device to be recognized by Garmin Express. If you do have those installed, you might want to consider uninstalling them.

Once you've done this, you should remove the junk left behind by the ANT Agent, then pair you device to Garmin Express.
