Connect sending me down the wrong side of the road!

Hi Guys,

Just bought myself a new Edge 810, after my old device died on me. I'm off on a touring holiday for a week soon and need to iron out a major wrinkle. I've mapped all my routes on Garmin Connect and transported them over to the Edge (eventually!!) but when I take the device outside it seems to think I am in a LHD country so it sends me round the roundabouts the wrong way and tries to map me down one way streets the wrong way too!! I've spoken Garmin support and they reckon it is because I am using base map on my device and that I need to upgrade to CNM. Is this true? If I buy the new map software will it sort the problem out?

I'm in the US with North American base maps and it did the same to me. It tracks correctly on the phone, but is on wrong side of the Edge 530 map.
