I am new to Garmin and have a nuvi 2555. I'm having trouble finding locations for places that are not close to where I live. I've read the manual and I cannot seem to get the Garmin to do what I want. I live in Portland ME and wanted to go to Boston (2 hours away) via a subway station in Medford Mass. When I searched for Wellington Station Medford MA the Garmin could not find it. I tried to change the current location and could not seem to do that either. I also searched for "Wellington Station Revere Beach Parkway Medford MA" and the Garmin could not find it. I must be doing something wrong, the manual is not very detailed about doing things like changing the current location or adding favorites (Or I'm just not getting it) Is there a more detailed set of directions (for dummies) on how to do stuff in Garmin? I did finally get Wellington Station to load (but could not do it again) and it wanted to take me down Route 1 and I would prefer to go another route and the only way I got it to work was to go off the route (with typed directions from Google maps) and let it recalculate. Is there some way to select a different route than the one Garmin selects? I know a lot of questions for a newbie.
