Full Edit in Modern View

How do I get to "full edit" in modern view? I started a bike ride in "run" mode and switched it to bike mode after 1/2 mile. I'm trying to delete the run and just adjust the distance and time on the bike to be consistent with the actual ride. I tried switching to classic view to find it but since this is a multi-sport activity, when I click on "view details" it automatically changes to modern mode.

When you are viewing the individual activity whether in modern or classic, click the pencil icon. In modern GC it's near the top right of the page next to the 'star' icon. Unfortunately you can't edit the gps track.

If you upload your ride to Strava, they have an easy to use map tool that lets you edit your gps track and will adjust all the data automatically to match the edited track. You can then export that back to your computer then import it to GC, then you'll have a map track to match the data.

It seems that editing distance, time...etc is now impossible in the modern interface.
I had to go back to the "normal" view to be able to edit the distance and then it appears on the modern view correctly but I was just not able to change it from there.
When I wanted to edit, it did no allow me to make change in the corresponding fields !
maybe something to do with read/write policy on the interface !?

I have the same issue, is it just me or is the new connect just user unfriendly,I was quite happy with the old format.would willingly ditch connect and will consider a different brand of GPS when my current unit expires.

It works for me. I can edit time, distance and most everything else for my activities. Maybe you are clicking on the wrong pencil. It's not the one by the activity name. It's the pencil icon over on the right next to the star, the padlock, the gear and something I don't know how to describe right now.

For a full edit, click on the "gear" icon on the top right of the individual activity page. This brings up a drop-down list with "edit" towards the bottom. Clicking that will bring up a new page where you can edit everything.

You can, except for changing the label from "other" to strength training in a multi sport activity.

Followed flarunner13 instructions and works perfectly. Like all things you just have to click the right button, that is not in an intuitive place. Was in the process of switching to the Classic mode, but then kicked on the other pencil in the top righthand corner, near the gears and all good.

This used to work for me but it is now broken - clicking on the pencil or the edit under the gear wheel results in a spinning blue disc only.

Yes I confirm editing is broken. I can not edit. Nothing happen. It used to work few days ago. :(

Works fine for me on Win7 + Chrome.
