garmin has stopped syncing to computer..help?

Hi all.
My forerunner 10 has been brill up until now.
It last synced on monday and have done two runs since then and i plug it in and nothing..why is this happening?

This has been a constant problem for me since connect upgrade, what sometimes works for me is to stop express from running reinstall the old downloader(for me this is ant+ but I guess wont be for you) and try again after restarting the pc, drives me nuts, hate the new format.....
I to am getting this problem with my NAV V talking to my iMac and i have used all USB slots re started 1,000 times clean fall logs out of NAV V done a full factory reset on NAV V, Then i have also deleted the full BASECAMP and re installed a fresh one still no success WHY! can't think of anything else to try ????
