Heart Rate wrong on new "Modern" view

I was just looking at my latest run in modern view and noticed the heart rate graph runs from about 177 when I'm running to 155 at my interval two minute walks. During the two minutes I know for a fact my heart rate got down to 130 because I was looking right at my FR 305 and remember. The bad part is, that if I look at the event in classic view, it correctly shows my heart rate going down to 130 during the interval.

This new modern view is crap pardon me for being blunt. The graphs are pretty much useless, hard to read and they are slow. Now I'm forced to switch to classic view to analyze my runs because I can't even trust "Modern" to show me the correct data.

I encourage you all to check your graphs between the two. You may be surprised at what your actual heart rate was.

Looks good on Strava. That's pretty sad when a 3rd party can better interpret Garmin data than Garmin themselves.
  • Over the past several runs I have noticed the HR is flatlined for the first .5 miles of every run. This is only in garmin connect, it shows correctly in Strava and Training Peaks. This issue needs some attention, but considering Garmin's track record on fixing glitches, I'm not too hopeful for a fix to this problem.
