Open OLD activities to everyone

I'm sorry if there is another thread for this but I couldn't find it.
In order to use SEGMENTS in its full potencial we need to be able to open all activities, including OLD activities to everyone.
When and how is this going to be possible ?

At least Garmin could give us an email address to send a personal petition to open all of them in a row. I mean if it is so dificult to implement the feature in the Garmin Connect.

This answer is not useful to me. I'm not a developer, just a common user.
I think that fixing these issues makes the difference.
