I have an Edge 800 and ever since segments were launched, whenever I create a course within Connect, then send it to my device, if there are segments within the course, they then appear on my device, as a separate page when I am out riding.
I can not find an option to remove this page from my 800 and it is getting frustrating, as I do not want to use the segments function. I have emailed Garmin support (over a month ago) but have not received a reply as yet. Has anyone else got this issue, or know a way to rectify it? I have selected an option within Connect to not participate in segments, and my software (version 2.70) is showing as up to date.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
