Edge 800 won't connect

Hi, I arrived home from a ride this weekend and plugged my Garmin Edge 800 in as usual. All software is up to date and it has always connected successfully allowing me to upload rides, but this time the device is not being recognised by my iMac computer. It starts to charge when I plug it in to the USB port, but does not allow me to access my files to upload. I've tried it in several different USB ports but I'm still having the same issue.

Can anyone help with this, please? I had a big ride this weekend and would really like to have it uploaded.

You might try try to use a different cable. If that doesn't work, you should try cleaning the USB port on the Edge 800. Sometimes the contacts get dirty and cause problems.
