I'm pretty sure Garmin deliberately stopped supporting the 60CSx in Connect some time ago. The 60/76 models are "discontinued".
  • It is an old device. When I connected my gpsMap 76 CSx to Garmin Express, it correctly identified it but politely told me it could not be used to do anything with it.

Were you able to upload activities from it with the old Garmin Connect/Garmin Communicator combination??

If you weren't, then if you want to upload to Garmin Connect you'll have to go through some extra steps and pains. One first step would be to see it you can get the tracks off the device with Garmin's Basecamp. Then you export that track as a .gpx or .tcx and import it into Garmin Connect. The 'import' link is on the activities list summary page of Garmin Connect in the top right corner. Garmin's MapSource might allow you to do the same thing, but I have not tried that.

I'm able to do that with my old gpsMap 76CSx so I expect you should be able to also. You might have to stop or close Garmin Express to allow basecamp to communicate with the device.

    MapSource will work too.

If the OP is logging tracks to a card they can also put the unit into mass storage mode and simply copy any GPX file(s) from it.
