Hi All,
I am not sure if I am interpreting this wrong or not, but I'd imagine the 40km record is how quick you've achieved 40km from the start of your ride.
My Garmin Edge 1000 - announced I had achieved a record for the 40km time at the end of my last ride. It claimed I had done it in 1hr 17mins.
It attributed the 'record' to this ride: http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/604630478
I am not sure if it's public or not but here are the main stats:
Total Distance: 41.2km
Elapsed Time: 1hr 36m 7sec
Time: 1hr 31m 59sec
Moving Time: 1hr 32m 38s
(p.s. I am not sure what the difference is between 'moving time' and 'time').
I think its pretty clear to see that if I did 40km in 1hr 17m, it took me 15minutes to do the last 1.2km - which it didn't.
I am confused, is the 40km actually a different calculation to what I think it actually is?
Help.
Thanks
