My Garmin Touring Plus automatically uploads to Strava via Garmin Connect. Problem is the title of the upload is always the same, the date and my home location. How do I change this, preferably to the title of the ride?
You don't. The default activity name on Strava is always the date or date and location, regardless of how the activity was uploaded. The reason that you don't get the activity name transferred is because the data is forwarded to Strava immediately upon arrival at Garmin Connect, before you've had a chance to name it. This is also part of the reason that activities that are private on Garmin Connect show up on Strava.
