New web disign not as convient

I understand having to update and try to stay up on technology, but the new website seems very cumbersome. On the old website all you options were under 'edit'. Now you have to click in at least 3 different drop-downs, plus edit to get all the details. This is really frustrating. I have a 305. I know it is older technology, but the runs are incomplete. My watch has all the info, but it doesn't transfer all the mapped coarse. If, for example, it plots 10 minutes of my run, it also doesn't transfer my heart rate and all other data after that 10 minute mark. If you look at the watch, it's all there.

I'm going to agree with the web site activity editing. The new design requires a lot of mouse interaction. On the old site, I could hit "Quick Edit" and tab to each field and enter all my changes (activity name, type, and description) in about 30 seconds. Now, I am required to click for each field (the tab key doesn't cycle between fields on the new activity details page). The fields are also spread all over the place. This is the opposite of good data entry design. If the goal is to prevent people from editing/personalizing their activities: Mission Accomplished!

I like the look and the new interactive nature of the update but I do agree with the posters about the "edit" function. Maybe the next update can a comprehensive "edit" drop down. We'll see.
  • Can any of you guys find the "Share" function on the new design? I spent 15 minutes yesterday trying to find it. No dice! Eventually, I had to switch back to the old.
  • Also the "printing" Option is gone...
  • Two clicks for a full edit:
    1. Click the "gear" icon on the top right of the page.
    2. Click "edit" at the bottom of the drop down list.

The "share" button is also up on the top right of the page.

    The "print" option is gone.

MTA: I stand corrected. The "print" option is located within the "share" option.
The activity must first be made public (click the "lock" icon and select "Everyone").
Then you need to click the "share" icon (the box with the arrow coming out of it).
    Click "More" then "Print".

Lock it back up if you don't want it public.
