Swim workout not showing up in Connect -- ghost workout?

I did a swim workout in-between two rides today. After syncing my 910xt, the rides show up in Connect but the swim does not.

Oddly, the swim did transfer to my TrainingPeaks account and into Strava, but not into myfitnesspal.

It would seem that the swim workout did make it into Connect to some extent; at least enough to be transferrable to other services.

The workout was mixed-stroke. Dunno if that has any significant bearing on my issue.

Anyone with a similar experience?

A follow up, I tried uploading the gpx file from Strava of my swim unto garmin connect manually, but it failed immediately. Though I find that Garmin connect nearly always fails at manual imports of files though. What's awful however is that Garmin own service doesn't tolerate files created by Garmin's own hardware..

I'm experiencing the same thing from my 910xt. Showing up on training peaks but not garmin connect. Swim from Tuesday transferred with no problems. Any news on what has happened from garmin, those who have inquired directly?

Just got off the phone with Garmin tech support for the same swim upload to Connect. issue. They told me they are aware of the problem and it's on their end. They couldn't tell me when it would be fixed or whether prior workouts would be updated once fixed. We would only see it working one day when it's resolved. I'll keep on swimming and viewing the limited information in Training Peaks.

I'm glad -- but not surprised -- that they're aware of the issue, and I'm sure they'll get it resolved. Though I'm also glad I've got trainingpeaks.

The issue with swim data not being uploaded to Garmin Connect has been resolved at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience and any trouble this may have caused.

Same issue... not seeing a fix anywhere.

Just submitted this request to Garmin Support.. hoping there's a solution soon

"Garmin Connect synced my first few workouts (Swims), but every time it showed a failed message (even though it sometimes worked). Now it's failing, and not working.

I have 2 swims in my watch that are not uploading. I just created a quick 2 second workout and did another sync.. it showed a failure message (as usual) but it did upload that new workout to Garmin Connect.. but no the 2 proper workouts from before.

I notice you've posted in the forum that this issue is resolved, but where is the resolution?

New software version (I'm on Garmin Express 3.2.19.0 which it says is the latest)?
New device software (I'm on 3.60 which it says is up to date).

Just got this watch, and not very impressed so far. Hoping you can help me resolve this, and hopefully get back those missing workouts too.
