Today's update

I like the changes made to the appearance and functionality of the site today but overall it is badly let down by the graphic glitches and bugs. The display on a Mac running Mavericks has a number of visually obvious problems. In addition, the Segments section has a very clear bug if you try to see more than the first 25 results for any particular segment.
QA should have addressed these issues prior to release.
  • My latest heart rate graph is very inaccurate.

If I look at the graph using the "CLASSIC" viewer my heart rate starts at 56 BPM and doesn't get to 104 BPM until about 2 minutes into my activity.

If I look at the exact same activity in "MODERN" my heart rate starts at 104 BPM from the very beginning of the activity. It doesn't show anything below 104. WEIRD!!

What visually obvious problems? I can't see them...

The 3 heart rate options are too wide and so they obscure the elevation gained data unless the display window is large (other aspects resize appropriately)

The pop-up values on the graphs behave erratically - they appear and disappear randomly if you run the cursor off the graphs horizontally. One value appears when you run the cursor off one of the graphs and onto the blue page background.

There are also issues with the data read off on the expanded graphs when using overlays.

The layout of the data summary is also strange - my data appears as two columns on one line and a third below - there is plenty of space for the three sets side by side even in a relatively small display window.

Sorry, should have said that all of the above apply to the view of a single activity.

Neither can I. But that's because it doesn't seem to want to upload my files anymore, even though I do it manually. They still work just fine in every other app I use them with.

I can't understand why the don't offer a beta version to some users to spot the flaws, or if they do why they don't get some new beta testers.

To add to the list of problems:
The graphs don't change to reflect the chosen display type, eg zones rather than bpm.
They have dropped NP in cycling.

Garmin had been doing so well over the past year I thought. I hope they are not going to slip back into old habits of adding new bugs to update old working features.
