Segments not calculated for old activities

I have dozens of old activities that don't get parsed for segments that I rode through. Is there anything else I can do than exporting the activity to *.tcx and re-upload it? Why aren't they processed automatically?

Here's an example of one of those activities:

    Existing activities weren't supposed to be processed. Garmin's systems process the activity data soon after it is uploaded. There was an announcement somewhere on these forums that indicated that new activities and those that were a few months old at the time (I believe back to January 2014).
