I am suddenly having similar problems with my Edge 810. After creating a course I try to send it to my device, Garmin express opens and tells me that the sinc has been succsessful, but the menu on the left still has items waiting for sinc. Everything has been working fine for two months since purchase, and out of the blue this has started hapening. Not what you expect with a piece of technology that costs so much.
I am having the sam issue syncing with a Garmin 910XT. Everything was working well before the update to Garmin Connect and the sync with MyFitnessPal. Please advise.
I have the exact same problem. My watch is 910xt and it won't upload my swimming activities. Heaps bummed as they were awesome sessions! I wish Garmin would just keep things simple!
Having issues this weekend as well. I have my Garmin account connected to auto-sync with Training Peaks and Strava. Yesterday's ride uploaded to Garmin Connect and synced to Training Peaks, but didn't sync to Strava.
Today's ride I get sync error, it fails to upload to Garmin Connect website (tried from phone and from website on computer). What's strange is that today's ride did show up on Strava even though it's not showing on Garmin Connect or Training Peaks. I was able to upload the FIT file directly to Training Peaks, so the problem seems to be with the Garmin servers.
Recently bought 810, worked once then had to reinstall the app, then worked once more and now Garmin Express wont sync after a ride today. I keep getting a 'there was an error syncing with garmin connect'. Only had this for a couple of weeks and considering returning it. Are they really this bad ?????
Strava has downloaded the ride direct from the 810, but this is useless if I can't upload and download ride details. Shall I get rid now or is there a quick fix
