destination location off by about 1/4 mile from address entered

My wife has a Garmin Nuvi 2557 recently purchased. In two trips, one in Memphis TN and another in Ozark, MO (Springfield area), with the address entered correctly, the Garmin showed the final location to be about 1/4 mile from the actual address. Map updates were done before both trips. I have an older Garmin and have been to the same addresses with different starting locations and it shows up fine on mine.

Is there a known problem and how to fix this? I don't mind for myself but my wife is not good without explicit directions.
