I have seen posts up to a year ago talking about this, but I was wondering why these are still issues. When I export a course to my edge 810 the elevation data profile does not show up on my edge and when I try to plan a course on garmin connect, it doesn't even give you a total elevation, making course planning useless. This is really sad that I have to use a 3rd party site to get garmins own features to work correctly.....
I was curious about the same issue, why Garmin Connect doesn't calculate the elevation gain and loss on created courses. I think I remember, right before the modern site was pushed, the course calculated it but that didn't last long... But I'm still surprised Garmin hasn't gotten this working, just seems like it would have been a priority since that metric is just as important as distance (at least to most of us...).... anyways its frustrating...
