Unable to disable elevation corrections at Garmin connect

I use my Garmin Forerunner 305 for navigation and recording trips when flying, and I obviously don't want to use "Elevation corrections" when viewing my trips at Garmin connect, since that would change my elevation to ground level. Up until recently this has worked fine, but now I notice that i can't turn off the Elevation corrections. That is, I can click the "Disable" buttion, and it gets highlighted, but the elevations still show ground level and not actual elevation.

I also disable the elevation corrections when cycling, since it won't handle bridges very well.

I still have this problem. Is there anyone who can give me a hint if it's a common problem or if it's going to be fixed soon?

Garmin Connect has had problems with elevation corrections since the first of the year, I've gotten used to not paying attention to elevation when viewing activities on it. For the times I'm curious about elevations I'm happier with viewing it on the other fitness sites I use.

You should definitely go through Garmin's email process on their support website to at least get it logged that another person is having issues with it. I would think Garmin prioritizes fixes, and if no ones filing support tickets, then it must not be too big a concern.

Many times when I want to deal more exclusively with elevation, espectially the flying part you mention, I load it into Google Earth. The 3d, map/satellite view and the elevation profile and stats work well for me. Though sometimes it's hard to find how to enable the profile stats at times.

Ironically, I logged into the forum because I am having the opposite problem. For my Garmin Forerunner 10, the Disable Elev Corrections on the Connect page allows me to disable it, but then there is no way to re-enable it. When I disable it, the elevation graph completely goes away, and I cannot get it back. I opened a ticket to Garmin Support.

any one have any luck re-enabling elevation on activities in the [stupid] modern view. my [junky] 910XT barometer is broken again and it shows tens of thousands of feet of elevation gain each workout.
