My trusty Nuvi 265w is having trouble holding on to satellites.
I drove around town with the satellite display on and while it acquires 5-7, at times it drops to 1 or two and gets hopelessly lost.
The problem seems to have gotten much worse since I replaced the battery, though I was very careful when opening and re-closing the case.
I have tried doing a factory reset and letting it sit outside for five minutes to acquire satellites.
It looks like is gets the same number as my newer Nuvi 52, but they drop out as I drive around
I ran diagnostics and the only problem seems to be a bad checksum on the SD card.
I have tried reformatting the card and re-downloading the maps, but that failure persists.
Any suggestions?
