GARMIN EDGE 800 will not sync with garmin connect

I have been having issues with my Garmin Edge 800, I am having troubles with syncing. Strava and Ride with GPS had no issues. Garmin Connect does. (I just watched the hour glass for 10 minutes) When I look at my activity history on the unit itself, it has all zeros for today's ride. (After my ride it had something.) But before I click on the activity it has my mileage that i went.

A couple of weeks ago, I was on 2 different rides and I looked down and say that my MPH was zero and I was moving at the time. I went home and did a hard reset and everything appeared to be ok

not sure if they are related or not.

Sounds like you have multiple issues. Your first issue is likely with Garmin Express. Possibly it is not installed/configured correctly on your PC/Mac. There is a sub-forum here for Garmin Express, read through that and see if anything sounds like it might help you or ask again there. Two things I'd check is whether you inadvertently created another Garmin Connect account when you installed Garmin Express. And Garmin Express may be configured to delete activities after uploading (not sure if it will do that on the 800).

Your second issue may be related to an ant+ speed sensor if you use that. Possibly a bad battery in the ant+ sensor. Again there is a specific sub forum for both the edge 800 and speed/cadence sensors.
