Health and sleep

Hi,
Why can't I manually enter or even see my sleep pattern on the desktop Garmin Connect? The only place I can see it is on the app on my iPhone. If you think it is important for your phone users, then put it on the desktop.

Secondly please can we manually enter other health parameters (such as body fat%) into Garmin Connect. This is still incredibly frustrating that you haven't listened to users who were frustrated with the classic version. I have Tanika scales, so have already lined the pockets of your partners, so please let me input the data.
Thanks
  • Do you have the sleep widget on your web based dashboard? You can add it using the icon with three lines on the left side of the page.

Many thanks for your reply. That's where I have been looking and expected it to be, but sleep doesn't appear in the list of potential widgets when you click on the three line icon. Where else may it be?
Could you also please reply regarding the manual entry of other health parameters.
    Thanks
    Geraint

What device are you using? The Sleep Tile might only be available on the vivofit, vivosmart, and Fr15, as those are the devices that track sleep.

I wish there were a way on Garmin Connect to enter that I was not sleeping during part of the night. I can enter the time I went to bed and the time I got up, but Garmin then assumes that was my total sleep time. In reality I'm often awake for an hour or more during the night, so if I'm in bed for 7.5 hours I may have only gotten 6 hours of sleep. There's no way to enter that information in the GC sleep widget, but it does show up as a spike in movement on the graph.

There is a place to add additional nap time to get total sleep time. Garmin could address my issue easily by simply adding in another option to subtract wake time.
Time in Bed - Time Awake + Nap time = Total Sleep Time
That would be more useful information.
