I have been using Edge 500 for the last two weeks and have not encountered any issues until this past Sunday. I did the NJ Gran Fondo. I wanted try the course function so I tried using the TCX file I imported from ridewithgps site for the Gran Fondo. I started the ride and all was going ok. Once I completed the ride I see part of the ride OK but the rest is a straight line from one point to another. Naturally all the information such as elevation, speed etc is way off. Is there any way to recover the entire ride or repair the file? Just to give some general info I always the press stop button and reset it after my ride is complete.
Also for future, do you think the training/course function messed up the recording so should I not use it?
