Garmin communicator plug in not detected

I have installed the garmin connector plug in but when I try to send a course to my Garmin 800 I get a message that it can't be detected.

Any Suggestions?

What isn't detected? The plug in or your Edge?

Check the plug in here http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator/
