Courses on Connect and Edge 1000 not same

I have two course in Connect. I sync with my Edge1000. My activities sync fine, but the two course on connect are not listed in my courses list on the Edge 1000. Similarly, the courses on my Edge 1000 are not listed in Connect. I am on 2.4 on my Edge.

If you want the courses you see in Garmin Connect to appear on your Edge 1000, you have to open the courses in Garmin Connect and click the Send To Device button for each. I don't believe that courses created on the Edge will upload to Garmin Connect at all.

Thanks. Has anyone figured out how to get courses on an Edge into Connect? Export them? Copy them from the device and convert them, etc? Would be nice if the "sync" actually synced :-)
