Crossing a loop segment without starting/ending at the same location

Hi

I usually run around a lake, doing a full loop. There is a public segment created for this loop, but starting/ending on the opposite side of the lake. Is it possible to compare myself to this segment even if I don’t start at the same location (I obviously run the same distance as the others…)? My activity doesn't identify this segment automatically...

Thanks
  • I'm pretty sure that the system requires you to pass through the start point and follow the course to the end point to be considered as following the same segment. The only option would be to create a similar segment that starts where you run from. That will allow you to be compared against others that start the loop at the same place, but it doesn't solve the problem of allowing you to compare your run against people starting at the original start position.

Thanks for the reply, i will do so. It's a bit a pity that i cannot compare to all people doing the same loop, but it looks like the best option...
