Switching from my device to my spouse's device never goes well

I have a 910XT and even after I logout of my GC profile, turn off my device, unplug my USB ant, connect my wife's 305 via the USB cord, her GC profile still shows my 910XT for upload. I usually have to restart my computer several times. Also her 305 only shows up in classic mode...
