I recall that Garmin is (or was?) sponsoring some elite cross country skiers and was hoping this would be added. Recently getting the Fenix 2 with its XC Skiing pre-programmed gave me another bout of hope that the section in Garmin connect would be improved.
Ideally, I (and many others with me) would love to see
Nordic Skiing (or Cross Country Skiing) with the following sub-categories:
Classic skiing
Skate skiing
Roller skiing classic
Roller skiing skate
(and for the heck of it) Skijoring
