Wind Speed Indication

i was wondering if Garmin has considered using the wind vector data like Intellicast uses on the iPad to gather and store daily wind data for our courses, and then plot headwind speed during our rides. Here in SOCAL we have a lot of coastal winds and this kind of thing would be VERY useful for indicating average speeds which have huge tailwinds (you could even apply a wind factor and even out the scores). Strava doesn't have this capability, and I think it could be a BIG competitive advantage!
