I would like to learn more about using this forum.
for starters when I post a question I haven't read a answer yet.
My question:how do I know when somebody has answered it will I be sent an email?
The forums have a subscriptions feature. If you want notifications for changes to a given thread, click the Thread Tools item in the menu bar at the top of the thread, then click Subscribe to this thread..., and then choose the appropriate option for notification.
If you've posted or commented in a thread and you'd like to get notifications for that thread, you can manage the subscription settings for those threads on the subscriptions page.
