How to upload on the new version?

The only way I can find to upload from my device (a 200) is to switch to the classc interface and then select the upload option. Is there any way to upload from the "new" dashboard interface? It takes about 20 minutes of screwing around each time before I remember how I got it done last time. It seems like such a basic feature would be front and center, no matter what kinds of bells and whistles they've managed to screw the system up with!:mad:
  • The new way is to use Garmin Express to do automatic uploads without having to open a browser window. If you insist on doing manual uploads from within your browser, you need to go to the activities page and click the Import link.

When will I have to switch over to the Modern system. I would prefer to stay with the classical version. I agree with RFRANZ1952 that since it recognizes my device it's a simple system for me. If I have to use Manual upload, then I have to extract the data from my device first. So it's a 2 step process. And, actually, I'm not sure how to extract the data from my device.

I don't know. I'm not a Garmin employee, so I'm not privy to that kind of information.

When your browser stops supporting the Garmin Communicator Plugin it will be much more difficult system to use. I'm not sure if, or when, this will happen, but Garmin claims that this is their reason for moving away from the browser plugins.

Again, Garmin Express should do all of this almost automatically. Depending on your device, you may have to connect a USB cable or just put the device near the computer. If you insist on not running Garmin Express in the background, you'd have to start Garmin Express. I don't understand how that is more difficult than opening up a browser, clicking upload, selecting activities, and clicking upload.
