Vivofit Activities Sync - Lost Activities from 8/26/2014 problems?

I am aware that there was a problem uploading activities that was fixed at 8am today. I wear a heart rate monitor when exercising with my Vivofit so that my activities are logged. When I sync'd this morning there were no activities. I have resync'd several times and there are no activities from today showing. Are those activities lost forever?
