Cannot add manual activity

Hi. I am trying to add a manual activity as indoor cardio and it will not let me - the error message saying: "You have entered a value that is not accepted by the database. Please enter a new value." It does not show which field contains the faulty value. Also, I was previously able to upload such activities. Please see the attached screen shots of the error and the earlier entry.

I'm getting the same issue in multiple web browsers. Only had to try and add a manual activity because sync wasn't working.

Hello,

I have the same issue since yesterday evening. Can't add a manual activity, I get the following error message:

"You have entered a value that is not accepted by the database. Please enter a new value."

I tried both the original version of the website and the modern version: no change.

Same here. I've entered my swims manually for several years, and now suddenly I can't. Same error message as above. And no indication of which specific value is not being accepted.

On two different machines running up-to-date Safari, haven't tried other browsers.

Why Garmin don't answer ??? I loose nearly one hour trying to enter a manual activity (swim).
Yesterday I was hot to buy a Fenix 2 but when I see how Garmin communicate I'm cold now ...

Hi, I have the same probleme, I can't add a manual activity, thanks to GARMIN to write a error message to indicate what is wrong in the data enter , for a correct action user .

It looks like the issue has been resolved but it would be nice to have someone from Garmin respond either with "working on it" or better yet "done". Oh, wait. Are you reading this, Garmin?

Someone should probably tell you folks that these forums are almost entirely a peer-to-peer support system. There are a few Garmin guys in the Garmin Express area, but that is it. If you have a problem that you expect a response, you really should contact the folks at Garmin via some other means (facebook, twitter, e-mail, phone, ...)

A problem with the same symptoms but different cause (i.e. eternal hour glass when trying to "Manually Add Activity") seems to have reappeared in the last few days. I am using Windows 7, 64-bit and IE9. I added "Garmin.com" under Browser, Tools, Compatibity Settings but the issue has persisted.
