So i synced my fenix 2 with garmin connect, but the activity does not show up in the software. funny thing is that it does show up on the training peaks website and on strava.
Whats going on Garmin??
I am experiencing the same thing. Garmin Express will sync the activities and upload them to Garmin Connect with no errors. Although when I look at the activities or training calendar they are not visible.
Edit: It appears to be a database/backend issue as Tapiriik is unable to scrub the activities from its Garmin's APIs.
I'm seeing the same problem when uploading activities from my Edge 500. The activities show up on Strava but not Garmin Connect. My last upload on the 18th worked.
Same problem. Can't manually enter either, says the database won't accept something (don't have the exact error). All I entered was Manual for the description, picked today at 8pm, distance, and time. No advanced settings. Tried manual entry because upload from Forerunner 620 didn't show up, USB sync didn't show up, etc... Frustrating. FIT file uploads just fine to MapMyRun, so its not a corrupt FIT file.
Same problem with Edge 800, earlier today. It took longer than usual to sync with Garmin Express then the activity appeared in Strava automatically. I could download into Endomondo fine. But nothing has appeared in Garmin Connect, even if I force Garmin Express to sync again, it is like the cycling activity never existed. In the end I had to export the activity from Strava onto my laptop then import the file into Garmin Connect. I don't understand why Garmin Connect is so temperamental and inconsistent when I go through the same procedure after every ride. Somedays everything works fine then the next day activities magically disappear into the ether.
