Can't upload activity from 620

Is there a known issue with uploading? I've been trying since 2:30p PT - first over bluetooth, then wifi, then hard wired. 620 says "no activities to transfer" or something to that effect. I turned the 620 on and off, and created a new activity- nothing. Activities exist on my 620 but don't appear in Garmin Connect.
I am having the same issue. I have a forerunner 305 and when I went to sync, no activities from today show up in the dashboard. However, they do show up on my device and I have tried to manually upload them with no luck at all. It has tried to upload them individually for well over 2 hours. Garmin connect is pointless if you cant upload your activities. I am finding that I am having more problems with Connect that it is just not worth it.
Does anyone know of a better site to upload your activities? My forerunner 305 still works well and serves its purpose, I just hat that I waste so much time with Garmin's site.
