Trying to upload Strength Training activity issues

Hi all,

I have been logging all of my Strength Training workouts in Connect for over a year without any issues. I create a Manual Activity, choose the start time, workout time, choose Strength Training in Activity Type and then usually input the details of the workout in the Comments. Never a problem before today.

Now I am getting an error message that says "You have entered a value that is not accepted by the database. Please enter a new value." No idea why. I leave the distance values empty and this has never been an issue before.

Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Thanks.
  • I'm having the same freakin' problem with a swim activity. For some reason it's not downloading off my watch so I gave up and decided to manually input it and I'm getting the same error. Very frustrating - doesn't identify which field the problem is with. About to throw my fancy 910xt out the window....

I'm having a similar issue. I rode my bike this evening, and keep getting an error when I try to upload the data. So I tried to enter the data manually, and I keep getting the same error as you. I think Garmin must have something wrong on their end.

I am having similar issue when I input my indoor cycling data. I've tried from several browsers and get the same error. I've triple checked the data and there is nothing 'off' about it. I agree - it must be something on Garmin's end. At the very least - the UI could provide you with a clue to 'what' is not allowed - so you know where the issue resides.
  • I am having the same situation. However, my strava account is linked and it shows both my weight training workout and bike ride. Funny that it happened after the new update. I cannot do a manual upload either.

Same issue for me. Looks like it is a new problem for Garmen Connect. Garmen, please let us know when you fix it!

Also having this issue. Run tonight wasn't auto-uploading as it usually does, so tried manual upload and got the same error no matter how many data fields I tried to change or leave blank.
  • I am having issue with my strength training data getting logged on to the watch but I can't see the status of training on garmin connect app... Its Its  AN ERROR OCCURRED... Can someone provide a solution to it...
