Forerunner 410 lost all history

My Forerunner 410 sat unused for a month (injury recovery time). When I recharged and turned it on, it started going through a tutorial, like I had never used it before, and then prompted me through an initial set up sequence. I then found out all of my history was gone. Worst part, I had over a month's worth of activity I had not uploaded to Connect website. I have tried everything I can think of. Device shows no history and when I try to upload, it just says no activity to upload. Any ideas? I fear I have just lost the data completely.
