Simple really, make it so when I look at segments on garmin connect it pulls segments from strava as there are no segments on garmin and there's no point making them because we are competing with those on strava.
FYI the addition of my garmin connect account linking with my strava account was the best thing you could have added. All my past rides and runs have shown up on strava now and suddenly I'm on all the segment leader boards even if the ride was a fee months ago. So thanks for that.
But I have this edge 1000 and the whole point and video advert was segments and competing against others and that feature just isn't currently a feature. Which needs address as it's false advertising. I mean I haven't even figured out how to make a segment with garmin connect yet that's how much of a nightmare it is.
Hopefully this is something your already addressing. But if you can make it some when I'm riding a route that it tells me when I start a strava segment that would be great.
