Report for a custom date range does not work

I'm trying to compare my statistics from Jan to Aug 2013 va 2014, but the custom date range just don't work. This happens for the "modern" view and the good old view.

I select "Custom Dates":

Select the date range I want and press done:

And viola! The "Report on" is back to "All days" again:

This has been this way for at least a week.

The problems aren't exactly the same, but they are similar enough that I feel the need to post a link to this thread.
