modern's lack of upload button and unable to send to device. How bizarre.

Back to classic to use GRMIN CONNECT correctly.
How can it be that there isn't an UPLOAD button?
How can classic work when modern doesn't to send to device - it sees my EDGE 800 and then doesn't.

Well done for not looking harder... On the activities page in Modern (http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities) there's an "import".. it doesn't use the Communicator plugin though because after many years, the NPAPI framework that such plugins use has been deprecated in Firefox & Chrome (and probably Safari)
It's a problem with Garmin Connect I fear. It also ruined my Nuvi several months ago after going to Portugal and then returning to change my map to UK & Ireland. Customer care was really poor - suggested same method to remedy only about 7 times until i realised they weren't going to actually help. I gave up and so should you. I had paid for lifetime map updates but now Garmin don't recognise my device so have lost my lifetime updates.... Do I spend the next 7 nights out of 14 to correct their problem? Not fit for purpose so avoid if you can
